Iron Age hoof-type linch pin terminal. late Iron Age period, circa 100BC to 50AD. Detailed on the face with two eye motifs, each with an enamelled circular cell, either side of a rectagular pannel with concave sides and traces of red enamel. 41.9g, 43mm. Ref: Hutcheson, N. 2004 Later Iron Age Norfolk: Metalwork, landscape and society B.A.R. 361 p. 109. Hutcheson illustrates similar examples, No. 46, and dates these to c. 100BC to c. 100AD.
